I just want to see just completely close your eyes and go for it these are the best value for money earbuds out there It has Best NOISE CANCELLATION OUT THERE ,and 110% better than Apple earpods Samsung anything just awesome at touch control is also very smooth and comfort is also
very good ,it had different modes like – still , Motion ,u can use them while your watching a movie will experience totally different kind of hearing experience and it design is also next level and battery life is also so good 6 hours no doubt in that and I found only flaw is that when you use the for calls ,the person can’t hear you properly, only when you are in loud noises except that everything is extraordinary just go for it if if you are taking tempora watching movies or listening music just go for it don’t keep second part just go for it.

Well, i may have over stepped my joy and ignored few key concerns when I wrote the first review. I have now reduced the rating to 1 Star, after encountering a few basic things that these Ultras miserably fail at.
    1. When you insert these buds into your ears, randomly either one of them will not connect! Has happened many-many times. Beyond frustrating; you need to put the buds back in the case, and sit and hope that the problem is solved. A 1000rs earbuds which i have from Tozo , seamlessly connects with my phone!

2.when you use multi point connection with a laptop , even after u keep the earbuds back in the case, the connection with laptop cannot be disconnected!!! I use ‘forget device’ option on the laptop .. each time i need to disconnect. Again, these things are basics 101!! I have the Buds Live and multi point works so intuitively on that.

The sound quality is sublime 10/10
ANC is 8/10 – removed 2 point2 due to ‘white noise’
    Connectivity: 1/10

Honestly, id be better off with AirPods 2 Pro or Sony XM5s . Don’t buy the Ultras right now , wait and research if Bose has fixed and then decide.

Extremely disappointed, definitely avoid until Bose does the right thing and corrects the basics, Ultra name is a joke.
Just a few firmware updates should be able to fix and hope Bose does that and soon, as this is a global issue.

    Old review:
This is my first purchase of a premium segment earbuds, and i am absolutely mind blown!! The Sound quality is something you need to hear to believe.

And ANC? What Bose has done with ANC is scary! The earbuds with full ANC on would make you feel that you are ‘alone’ , even if you are at a busy, noisy office. My focus has a new aid! Pure wizardry.
With the new Firmware update, Bose has enabled multiple connectivity. But the implementation is poor, has a few minor bugs and must be fixed with a next update, but not a deal breaker for me.

Don’t get carried away with lower ratings, if Top class Sound and ANC is your priority, then close your eyes and purchase, nothing else comes close.
I bought this over the Bose Ultra Headphones due to convenience, I don’t regret one bit.
    Super happy 😍

    Good sound
    Best ANC
But I don’t know how Bose made an applicant disconnect earbuds
Once you uninstall the application it works properly
Bose needs to work on application

My review is based on reviewing several other earbuds for one specific purpose: Running a marathon. This was the main reason I wanted to dive into wireless headphones in the first place. So after using these Bose Ultras over span of a month and comparing them to what’s on the market I think I’m ready to give my verdict.
TL;DR: These are the best earbuds compared to what’s out there at this price point – get them on sale and you wont be disappointed. Overall, the XM5’s are the only real competition to these. Nothing from Beats or Sound core will come close to these Ultras.

Review: I got these on sale when the Sony XM5’s were on sale as well so they were the same price. I also grabbed Sound core X20’s, Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, Studio buds+ and Fit pro’s. All of these were geared towards working out while providing ANC. After spending a week with these earbuds I was able to judge these Ultras performance against a solid baseline.
-Battery Life: 6/10 (these drain quickly giving about 4 hours of active listening time before requiring a recharge EQ settings: Bass +10/ Treble +5 however the case can fully charge these earbuds 3-4 times before needing a charge itself.
-Sound quality: 9.5/10 The immersion mode on these blows everything out of the water including Xm5’s. These sound incredible.
-Ear Fitment: 9/10 These earbuds come with TWO fitment parts – An earbud and Rubber Band that goes around the earbud; this allows for 6 different fitment setups across both earbuds. (Bands: X1,X2,X3 and S,M,L) x2. This feature itself is the trump card for these earbuds as a near perfect fitment affects sound quality as well and of course as a runner you don’t want these to fall out of your ears and get damaged. Although before your run it doesn’t hurt to use a bit of saliva to give you that extra adhesion (sorry but this worked and I was scared to let these drop on the pavement. The resulting run was the best I’ve had in a very long time.
ANC: 8.75/10 (the XM5’s are the best at ANC because they are dead silent while these have a slight static sound when not playing any music. So just know that if you will use these to fall asleep that there will be some static to deal with. Get the Sony’s if you want the best ANC; but you will also not get an Immersion mode
Software and controls: 8.75/10 The gestures and intuitiveness of the controls along with the iOS app make this the most easy to use earbuds of the bunch. The XM5’s have a poorly designed iOS app that leaves much to be desired. the swipe to inc./dec. volumes works SO MUCH better than the XM5’s which is based on the number of taps. the gesture area on the Xm5’s is a curve versus the Ultras which is flat and easier to use. The Bose app has zero bloatware whereas the Sony Sound connect app often gives pop-ups and ads for Amazon music for example. Like come on Sony I didn’t pay hundred of dollars to see ads.

So finally the Bose qc ultra earbuds!!

Firstly, thanks to Amazon prime day sale got the ultra for the price of previous gen qc2. Great value for money.

    The pros:
    1. Very comfortable fit
    2. Well rounded, great sound (ofcourse)
    3. Top notch ANC
    4. Easy and hassle free connectivity to ios devices

    The cons:
    1. No multi point connectivity – can connect to only one device at a time
    2. No wireless charging (which wasnt a deal breaker for me)

Overall, really happy with the purchase. I was using airpods first gen for almost 2 years and then upgraded to airpods pro first gen. Was very happy with airpods but being a Bose fan and somebody who keeps a check on latest what Bose has to offer i thought of giving it a try. And oh boy! No regrets at all.

Go for it if you are a Bose fan!

After much deliberation went for Bose QC Ultra Earbuds. The other option was Sony WF-1000XM5. Will list out the Pros first
    1) Superb Noise Cancelation
    2) Comfortable to wear for long time.
    3) Multi Tap Bluetooth got enabled with
    Software Update.

    Cons
    1) The Case doesn’t have wireless charging. Not a deal breaker for me.
    2) App functionality needs improvement and needs to be smooth without any lag.
    3) Case build quality could be better.
    4) Voice for Bluetooth calls can be better

Few professional reviews gave the Sony higher score for better sound reproduction and clear voice for calls. In the end it all comes down to personal requirement. I found the Bose Noise Cancelation a notch above then Sony and quite comfortable to wear them for longer duration. With Multi-Tap Bluetooth connection now being provided by software update, Bose QC Ultra made more sense to me.

  11. Krishnakumar M.

    1) Too much costly (quality of connectivity and sound is not meeting the expectations at this premium cost)
    2) Frequently lose the connection (for iphone15pro max and Galaxy S24)
    3) Suddenly cancel ANC, getting surrounding sounds.
    4) ANC is not meeting the quality.
    5) Customer care is not convenient (it requires more than 20 days to resolve the issue.

Conclusion- Quality, customer care is not good or not satisfactory with comparison to the price paid for the product. Better to go for other best options.
